Traveling by train in Bangladesh

When traveling Bangladesh, visitors should absolutely use their fingers to point to someone or something, because it would be considered an extremely rude gesture. If necessary, visitors can gesture with hands.

Visitors absolutely should not shake hands with Muslim women because under the law, shaking hands with Muslim women is taboo. To greet, visitors can put a hand on their left chest and slightly bent.

Muslims often eat with their right hand, because they think that the left hand is not clean and only used for other purposes, therefore, visitors should not eat with their left hand to avoid misunderstanding.
