Before, the Jetstar Pacific route between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa has only 1 round-trip flight per day. Now, the number of flights from Saigon to Thanh Hoa are 2 flights a day to meet the increasing need of customers. According to Jetstar Pacific Vietnam, as the traveling demand of passengers is on the rise, the airline decided to raise the frequency to 2 flights per day. The route Ho Chi Minh - Thanh Hoa was exploited from September 5th, 2014. On the route, now Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air are having their exploitation. To increase the frequency of Jetstar Pacific flights and prepare to open more 5 new routes, the airline received another Airbus A321 to put into operation from January 17th, 2015. This is a new version of Airbus A321 designed with 184 seats, including 16 seats of business class.
Jetstar has two main shareholders as Vietnam Airlines and Qantas Airlines (Australia). Currently, Jetstar is exploiting 11 domestic flights and international flights from Vietnam to Macau, Singapore and Thailand. Contributing to increasing choices and cost savings for the customer community, on September 5th, the airline officially opened the first cheap flight of route Thanh Hoa - Ho Chi Minh City. The first flight of Jetstar Pacific airline on route HCMC-Thanh Hoa with the frequency of one round-trip flight per day. The first flight from Ho Chi Minh to Thanh Hoa of the airline reached 100% utilization factor, while the opposite direction from Tho Xuan Airport is 95%.
Jetstar Pacific is the first low-cost airlines in Vietnam has 2 main shareholders as Vietnam Airlines and Qantas Airlines. Currently, Jetstar Pacific is having its exploitation at 13 airports in Vietnam, and in the future the carrier will exploit more routes. Airports in Vietnam are being exploited by Jetstar Pacific: Noi Bai International Airport, Cat Bi International Airport, Tho Xuan Airport, Vinh Airport, Dong Hoi Airport, Phu Bai International Airport, Da Nang International Airport, Buon Ma Thuot Airport, Cam Ranh International Airport, Phu Cat Airport, Tuy Hoa Airport, Phu Quoc International Airport, and Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
In addition, the carrier will receive two aircrafts of Airbus A321 from Vietnam Airlines in the form of "dry hire" (hiring aircraft only). The addition of two Airbus A321 aircrafts will increase the capacity of transport by 66,240 passengers per month, at the same time raise the Jetstar Pacific fleet by 10 aircrafts before Vietnam Lunar New Year 2015. In the future, Jetstar Pacific will open more 5 new routes between Ho Chi Minh - Quy Nhon - Dong Hoi from February 1st, Buon Ma Thuot - Haiphong from February 2nd, Buon Ma Thuot - Thanh Hoa from Februaray 2nd, and HCMC - Tuy Hoa from March 30th.
