Ton Duc Thang Museum is home to preserve, display and introduce the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang. The museum has long become one of the appealing tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City attracting numerous tourists.

Built on 20th August 1988, Ton Duc Thang Museum is situated at No.5 Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The museum was inaugurated on the occasion of the 100th birthday of President Ton Duc Thang. It was formerly called as "Galleries on the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang". In August 1980, the galleries was officially renamed as Ton Duc Thang Museum as today. The museum now retains 07 galleries on an area of over 700 m2. Thanks to artifacts, documents and photographs on display, the museum has vividly and generically expressed the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang. As one of the famous museums in Ho Chi Minh City, Ton Duc Thang Museum daily attracts the large number of tourists.

Ton Duc Thang Museum aims to meet the expectations and requirements to find out, research and ascertain about President Ton Duc Thang, also known as Uncle Ton of people throughout the country in general, the southerners in particular and especially the people in Ho Chi Minh City. The museum has retained exhibition system with about 1,000 artifacts, documents and photographs introducing President Ton Duc Thang. The artifacts in the museum include his home relating to his childhood in Ong Ho Islet (My Hoa Hung commune - An Giang province), the image of Ton Duc Thang at the age of at Saigon, a wooden box of Uncle Ton, the image of flagging anti-war flag image in Black Sea, the image of leading the struggle movement of Saigon workers in 1920s, the image of "Rice Mill"... Furthermore, the museum also holds thematic exhibition relating to activities of President Ton Duc Thang such as Con Son Pearl, Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton, daily life of President Ton Duc Thang... Particularly, works on display recreating the space to work and relax of Uncle Ton along with displaying collections of true artifacts "the daily life of President Ton Duc Thang" clearly portrayed the simplicity, humility and frugal life of the President. The museum is home to store, research, exhibit and introduce the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang - the great patriot and staunch revolutionary soldier. Notably, Ton Duc Thang Museum in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Fine Art Association and Municipal Children's Culture House organized Painting Competition with the theme of "Ho Chi Minh City's Children with Uncle Ton" with the aim of presenting the life, career and revolutionary ethical example as well as his special love for children.
