- The main means of transport in Brunei are taxis, cars and buses. The bus system in Brunei is quite good; the prices are affordable. If you go to the suburbs, you can catch a taxi or hire a car. To reach some scenic spots in Brunei tourists must take a ferry.

- If visitors come here in the month of Ramadan (the 9th lunar Arabic month), they should avoid eating in front of the Muslims, because the Muslims generally do not eat anything from the sunrise until the sunset in this month. 

- Dining, entertainment and cost of living in Brunei is quite expensive compared to other countries in Southeast Asia.

- Brunei dollar is the main currency of this country, but visitors can easily use Singapore dollars because it is also used in Brunei.

- Grilled chicken is a very popular meal in this country; visitors should try this delicious dish. It can be found in the affordable stalls along with the luxurious restaurants.
