RV Indochine Cruise is one of deluxe cruises in Mekong River. It was built in 2008 with the length of 50 meter, the width of 10 meter, and the draft of 1.7 meter. Spreading over 3 decks with 24 windowed twin cabins, RV Indochine Cruise has generous public area with 1 panoramic restaurant of 90 m2, 1 main lounge, 1 bar, and 250-m2 large sundeck.

There are 24 spacious cabins in RV Indochine Cruise. All cabins are twin cabins with two twin size beds which can be joined. Phnom Penh – Siem Reap 3 days 2 nights

 

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Koh Chen/ Oudong – Kampong Tralach

(Including lunch and dinner)

At 7.45, Indochine Cruise is open to welcome passengers for embarkation. After check-in, you will attend in security briefing. Meanwhile, the vessel will start cruising towards Koh Chen, which is also called as Chinese Island. Koh Chen is a small village where its residents are very good at making silver and copper. In addition, locals here also specialize in making ornamental items, for example, delicately engraved tropical fruits used in wedding and traditional ceremonies. From the cruise, you can see Oudong, the distant hills of Cambodia’s old capital and its royal stupas. Get off the ship for visiting Oudong, you can see ruins of Anthareu temple.

At noon, returning to the vessel, you will be served a delicious lunch as the cruise sails to Kampong Tralach. Afterwards, you have a great opportunity to visit Vihara, which belongs to Wat Kampong Tralach Leu pagoda. Vihara is an isolated Buddhist pagoda standing by itself in the middle of rice fields. Because of being located in insolation, the pagoda receives very few visitors. This is a reason why Vihara still remains pristine and unspoiled. Along the way to arrive in this pagoda, RV Indochine Cruise will pass through Kampong Tralach Krom village along a small road, which is vertical to the river. After visiting Vihara Pagoda, you will re-embark the ship and have a welcome drink and a cruise briefing. Later, let’s enjoy a welcome dinner.

 

Day 2: Kampong Chnang – Kampong Luong

(Including breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

In the morning, RV Indochine Cruise will move towards Kampong Chnang. When reaching to Kampong Chnang, you will get off the vessel to explore its town, which is considered as one of the largest fishing ports on Tonle Sap. In the town, you can discover its widely-practiced fishing farms and famous pottery wares. Pottery produced in the town has been unchanged in style for centuries and is enough to supply the whole country. And what’s more, do not ignore trying products of Thnot tree – a sugar palm tree – which is known as a real national symbol of Cambodia. Enjoy a large cake or a palm wine made from Thnot tree, you may not forget its mellow tasting and flavors of caramel-colored sugar.

Back to Indochine in the midday, you will be served a lunch while the ship is on the way to Kampong Luong. You will be transferred to a local boat for visiting self-sufficient village due to its remoteness and difficult access. In the village, it’s good chance to observe daily life of locals in floating schools, factories to make ice for fish preservation, churches, pagodas, service stations, pigsties, stores, boats, television repair shops, video clubs, karaoke bars, police stations, and so forth, all are floating on water. About at 6.00 pm, you will come back to RV Indochine Cruise and enjoy farewell cocktail and dinner with Master of Ship, Cruise Manager, and Captain. Overnight under the protection of the flooded forest.

 

Day 3: Kampong Luong – Siem Reap

Waking up and enjoying the last breakfast onboard, then you will prepare to pack up. You can leisurely do your favorite activities as the cruise will cross through Tonle Sap Lake. In the midday, enjoy the last lunch, then, you will disembark the ship. Local tour agent will pick you up and take you to a hotel.

Saigon – Phnom Penh 6 days 5 nights

 

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) – My Tho

(Including lunch and dinner)

At 7.45 am, Indochine Cruise will open for embarking. As lunch will be served, the ship will depart to My Tho. In the afternoon, around 5.30 pm, Indochine will arrive in My Tho and drop anchor on river nearby Thoi Son Island. You can enjoy traditional music played by local musician band in 45 minutes, then take part in a welcome drink and cruise introduction. Afterwards, let’s enjoy your first dinner.

 

Day 2: My Tho – Cai Be

(Including breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

To start your morning excursion, you will be transferred to local boat to go to the mainland. After arriving the shore, you will be picked up by car to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, Dong Tam Snake Farm, and My Tho Market. When travelling in My Tho, you can discover its huge rice fields and fruit orchards, which is considered as one of the most luxuriant gardens of Vietnam with various types of tropical fruits such as coconut palms, banana, and mango trees.

Finishing your trip in My Tho land, you will come back to the pier for cruising on the river to Thoi Son Island by local boat. In the island, you can explore daily life and try locally seasonal fruits. Afterwards, re-embarking Indochina Cruise, let’s enjoy a gourmet dinner onboard. Indochine will leave My Tho to sail towards Cai Be.

 

Day 3: Cai Be – Vinh Long – Sa Dec

In this day, you will continue your journey by local boat to visit Cai Be floating market and some attractions in Vinh Long including a brick and pottery factory, Nursery of Fruit Trees in Binh Hoa Phuoc Islet, and typical house and a show room of traditional farming tools. After returning to the ship, you can enjoy your lunch while Indochine departure for Sa Dec. In Sa Dec, you can make a panoramic tour by visiting Trung Vuong primary school and Kien An Cung Pagoda and strolling around Sa Dec Market and Sa Dec River Bank. Get on local boat again, you will have a stopover at a nursery of flowers and bonsai trees. Take your time to discover Sa Dec – a Garden of Cochin Chine – as much as possible. When passengers re-embark, Indochine Cruise will leave Sa Dec port.

 

Day 4: Sa Dec – Chau Doc

In the morning, the cruise will set sail to Chau Doc. You can freely enjoy the half day by your own way. At noon, you will have lunch at Victoria Hotel Chau Doc jetty when Indochine reaches Chau Doc. Afterwards, let’s enjoy your excursion in fish raising rafts and Cham minority village by local boat. Afterwards, why not take a short walk to visit Chau Doc market and Sam Mountain. In Sam Mountain, you can have a deep understanding about Vietnam religion when observing well-known Buddhist sanctuaries which will offer you a panoramic view over green rice paddies below. Day 5: Chau Doc – Koh Dek Chau

In the morning, Indochine Cruise will leave for Vinh Xuong – Vietnamese border. Arriving in Vinh Xuong check-in point for formality clearance, then, Indochine Cruise will cross the border to Cambodia. When coming to Kaam Samnaar check-point, the ship also stops for formality clearance as well. As reaching Koh Dek Chau Island, you will have a short break to get a close-up look at daily life in Cambodia. Visits its village, you will be escorted by school children along the way. Let’s go through the village occupying the full lengths of the island and walk along a trail shaded by date palms. In the morning, you will have a breakfast during navigation on marvelous canal of Cho Gao. Indochine Cruise will arrivet at My Tho – Lan Diep and drops anchor on river nearby Thoi Son Island. Afterwards, you will be picked up by local boat to transfer to the mainland. Departure by car visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Making a tour around My Tho, you can discover its market, huge rice fields, and fruit orchards, which is considered as one of the most luxuriant gardens of Vietnam with various types of tropical fruits such as coconut palms, banana, and mango trees. Day 6: Phnom Penh – Kompong Tralach

In the morning, you will have a half day to make a sightseeing tour in Phnom Penh including some famous attractions like Royal Palace and National Museum. At noon, returning to the ship for lunch, then Indochine will take uou to Kompong Trakach. Check-in/Check-out

The check-in and check-out time is often at noon. Due to there are different itineraries, the check-in and check-out time will change a little bit. Thereby, you are highly recommended for asking exact information when booking.

 

Cancellation

Similar to other cruises in Mekong River, RV Indochine Cruise highly recommends that you should inform your cancellation as soon as possible. The sooner you inform, the less you will be charged.

- More than 60 days prior to departure: 10% of Price

- Between 60 and 31 days prior to departure: 30% of price

- Between 30 and 21 days prior to departure: 50% of price

- 20 days to departure date or no show: 100% of price

Children and extra beds

Infants below the age of 4 years may sleep in their parent's cabin at no extra charge but CFM cannot guarantee the availability of a cot and parents are to provide their own baby food. Children of 5 years and over must occupy their own berth.
