Under the plan, the coffee exhibition will take place from March 8th to 12th in Dal Lak Museum (No.2, Y Ngong, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province). Dal Lak Museum will be a main space to organize introduction and exchange activities for Vietnam coffee industry. The Coffee Fair will take place in the form of an open space exhibition where coffee culture will be displayed in natural sceneries. It is estimated that there are over 200 enterprises with more than 650 booths participating the expo. Commodities brought to the exhibition will include different types of coffee beans and coffee products; handicraft products made from coffee; production lines, machines, and technology for producing coffee; coffee making facilities; and fertilizers and protection products for growing coffee.
Visiting the Coffee Fair this year, visitors can not only freely enjoy coffee in 22 famous coffee shops in the city but also have a great chance to go sightseeing in the city's coffee streets. Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Exhibition is considered as an open space to create the comforts and pleasures for travelers. In the frame work of the exhibition, a finale of coffee preparation is the most expected event of many people. Coffee preparation contest aims to recognize and promote the talent of bartenders, especially for those who specializes in making coffee in hotels, restaurants, bars, coffee shops... In the contest, participants will perform their creativity through making a distinct cup of coffee. The contest is also a good event for introducing and promoting Vietnam coffee.
According to the organizing committee, since the first exhibition held in 2005, Tthe Coffee Fair has become an important program to enhance the economic efficiency of the Vietnam coffee industry in general and Dak Lak coffee in particular and simultaneously promote Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Brand. The coffee exhibition is often annually held in parallel with Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival. It has received great support from Government and related departments and attracted a large number of visitors and domestic and foreign enterprises. In details, the first expo attracted more than 106 enterprises with the attendance of 400 booths. In the next events, the coffee exhibition attracted more number of participants and visitors. In the fourth fair in 2013, it welcomed over 725 booths from 221 enterprises and 17 other organizations.
