Attractions in Hue discount tickets in tourism month

On the occasion of Vietnamese National Day September 2th, many attractions in Hue will discount entrance tickets to promote the golden tourism month in Hue City. This discount program will last till September 30th.

If tourists buying  entrance tickets to visit 3 following attractions including the Hue Imperial Citadel, Emperor Khai Dinh’s Tomb, and Emperor Minh Mang’s  Mausoleum will be offered free tickets for remaining relics including Emperor Thieu Tri’s Tomb, Emperor Tu Duc’s Tomb and Hon Chen Temple. Simultaneously, tourist delegations of 10 people or more will be offer 10% discount (buying 10 tickets, tourists are given 2 tickets free of charge). The ticket price of performances of Hue Royal Music in Duyet Thi Duong will be discount 50%. The delegations of 20 tourists or more will be awarded a free presenter. Students with referral provided by schools can enter freely without tickets. The electric car service in Hue Citadel will discount 20% in ticket price. Services including souvenir and food in relics in Hue will offer tourists a discount of 10 to 20 %.

From now until the end of the year, Hue city will strengthen tourism promotion; invite Famtrip (Familiarisation trip) from Japan, Korea, Thailand to survey the tourist market in Hue and Vietnam Central region; simultaneously, actively hold Roadshows in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and other large cities in Vietnam; and focus on exploiting tourists from new markets, especially international markets.

The tourism industry continues to improve the quality of services, tourism environment and to implement stimulus programs to attract tourists. The Conservation Center of Hue Relics attracts tourists by unique products. With new products, tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy cuisine, royal musical performances with a preferential price.

In addition to exploiting traditional markets, travel companies are actively expanding into potential markets such as Laos, Korea, and Japan. Especially, Hue also concentrates on domestic markets like Da Nang, Phan Thiet, Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh and so on. Hotels in Hue offers tourists with attractive promotional programs, increases tours combining tourism with conferences and seminars, enhance selling accommodation services online through hotels’ websites and domestic and international online travel agencies. Tourism companies in Hue City strengthen to cooperate with a number of travel agencies in other provinces as well as airlines to plan a major program of travelling Vietnam with a preferential cost. The program is initially successful in markets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2014, Hue tourism aims to welcome 3 million visitors, of which international tourists are about 1.3 million, increases the total revenue from tourism up to 16%. Reportedly, in the first seven months, Hue welcomed 1.8 million tourists, including 650 international tourists.
