On May 25th, the opening ceremony of 6th Asia Pacific Cultural Heritage Festival was celebrated in Suffolk County, Long Island District, New York City, the USA. Vietnamese culture has been impressively promoted here.
In the scope of Vietnamese Year in France, the event “Vietnam Week” was opened on June 2nd in Seine-Saint-Denis. It was the first time the province held such a large-scale event exchanging culture between Vietnam and France.
Vietnam has participated in Cultural Festival 2014 recently held in the Federal Republic of Germany to introduce and promote Vietnamese culture as well as Vietnam tourism to international friends worldwide.
Soul of Vietnam, a special music show imbued with Vietnamese culture was held on July 4th at the Headquarter of City Hall in Paris by Union of Vietnamese Association in France (UGVF).
A program on a collection of clothes of Vietnamese worshipping belief, particularly, Mother Goddess worship in Vietnam will be introduced in 4 European countries including Germany, France, Belgium and Netherlands.
Recently, Open Days – Berlin 2014 festival was held by the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany. That was a chance to promote Vietnamese culture.
In the framework of “Vietnam Days in Netherlands 2014”, Vietnam culture exhibition taking place from September 24th to 26th was an important highlight to promote images of Vietnamese culture to the Netherlands.
