Cham Island is a cluster of islands recognized the world biosphere reserve by UNESCO. This is also a tourist attraction having year round cool climate. With rich marine resources, Cham Island is an ideal place for diving to explore the undersea world.

It takes only about 30 minutes from Cua Dai port to Cham Island one of the tourist attractions in Hoi An by high speed canoe. There must be a lot of interesting things waiting for you ahead. Once setting foot on the unspoiled island, tourists will have the chance to participate in diving activity to explore the colorful undersea world.  

Cham Island has 3 diving sites including Hon Dai, Hon Tai and Hon Mo. Those who have enough physical health and like adventurous can dive deep down about 5 to7m. Interestingly, just wearing goggles, sucking snorkels and wearing life jackets along with the guide of the professional and enthusiastic guides, tourists can dive at the depth of 10m to admire the beauty of the colorful coral kingdom and explore the exciting ocean world of this island at the same time. There is no more interesting thing than touching in the coral reefs and witnessing how the fishes feed that you only see on the television.  

The undersea world in Cham Island is very vivid with a variety of species including 135 species of coral, of which 6 species was first recorded in the sea of Vietnam, 500 algae and sea grass rugs, 202 fish species, 4 lobster  species and 84 species of mollusks. So diving activities here help tourists enjoy a stunning undersea world with lots of legends of this island that keep shipwrecks over the centuries and the legend of the sound vibrating from the heart of the ocean.

With the invaluable gifts were endowed by the nature, Cham Island has become a special tourist paradise bringing the international stature of Hoi An, because this place has been recognized as the World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. This title is an advantage of Cham Island to promote tourism, including the diving activity.
