Airbus A220 is a modern aircraft designed for the 100-160 seat market. The aircraft was equipped with the latest generation Pratt & Whitney PW1500G jet engine to reduce fuel consumption per seat compared to the previous generation aircraft.

The Airbus A220 is a narrow-body, two-engine and mid-size airliner. It was designed by Bombardier Aerospace and was later sold to Airbus. The Airbus A220 aircraft consists of two variants, namely the A220-100 (ex CS100) with 108 to133 seats and A220-300 (ex CS300) with 130 to 160 seats. Currently, Delta Air Lines, Swiss International Air Lines, AirBaltic and Korean Air are operating Airbus A220 aircraft for their commercial purposes.
