Ben Thanh Market is one of the most visited attractions in Saigon. The market allures a large number of both domestic and international tourists for visiting, shopping, and enjoying local dishes. Since Vietnamese traditional Tet holiday, the market welcomes few western tourists coming here.
However, from 20 February, Ben Thanh Market became busier by many turns of European and Asian tourists. “Currently, a large number of westerners and Malaysian are visiting the market”, a security man of the market said.
On early days of February, a few tourists in Ho Chi Minh appeared at the War Remnants Museum. There were about 50 visitors inside the museum. On 23 February, there are many groups of tourists making a line to buy tickets. War Remnants Museum is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh.
There are more visitors coming to Saigon Central Post Office on 24 February. In front of the attraction, there are more shuttles coming and leaving to pick tourists up, most of them are westerners traveling in groups.
At Independence Palace’s main entrance, there are more tourists coming here, taking photos. The area was solitary in the early February. In recent days, the tourist site attracts travelers more.

More visitors sit along both sidewalks after two week. Most foreigners do not wear face masks. From February to the end of April, it is the high season of international tourists coming to Vietnam, especially European visitors. However, the number of visitors to Saigon tourist attractions decreased 30-50% in the early February due to Covid-19 affection.
